Catformer
CATFORMER
Catformer is a 2D platformer. The moon is losing all it's shine and you have to save the night! Jump through three challenging levels and defeat deadly enemies.
Catformer is my first ever game, made in about three weeks in the Godot Engine. It's by no means perfect and any feedback is appreciated. The game is free and open source with the project files available on Github. All assets and sounds were done by me.

Would you consider putting this game on the AtarI VCS? It's a Linux based console that released in 2021. A game like this would standout and would sell on the VCS I think!
Really good game! Addicting and interesting!!
¡Hello! Your game is so good, but i have some suggestions
1- If possible, modify enemy collisions
2- The game needs a checkpoint
3- A little more enemies
Greetings and good luck
PD: Sorry for mi basic English :D
ur english isnt bad
Hey, thanks a ton for your comment!
1. Yeah, if I ever make one with longer levels it would definetly need checkpoints
2/3. And yes, the coins in this game are completely pointless and unrewarding :D. There definetly needs to be a reward or score to keep track of and reward the player for collecting them, otherwise why should anyone care about the coins.
Another person also pointed out how oddly placed some coins are. This made me realize that not only the reward for coins is important but also the placement. In most games they're very delibaretly placed to guide the player and reward them for alternate paths or diffifcult jumps.
I will definitely take this feedback to heart for my future games, and again thank you!
